About D. Louise
How is this possible? After researching long lasting metals, we found that stainless steel jewellery ticked the boxes. Unlike lots of other materials commonly used in jewellery, stainless steel is a highly durable, recyclable metal, which also looks super cute as a necklace. It is very affordable which means that it is a very accessible price point.
Our jewellery then goes through a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating process. PVD coating is a unique technique. This new, modern way of plating, is 10 times thicker than standard gold plating, using a vacuum coating process, resulting in an extremely durable finish. This means that our jewellery is resistant to corrosion from sweat and regular wear so our customers can wear D. Louise every day confident in the knowledge that their jewellery is going to keep looking as great as when they first got it.
My name is Olivia Jenkins and I am a 24-year-old female entrepreneur who started D. Louise after becoming increasingly frustrated with her everyday jewellery turning her skin green.
In 2017, I sadly lost my Mum, Deborah Louise to cancer and have found it difficult to heal ever since. Using my Mum’s name for my brand has really given me drive and a passion to make it work and build something with meaning.
I’m passionate about sustainability and am pleased to partner with Get Mads to plant a tree with every order and use recyclable packaging.
