In a world where I never thought I'd be a writer or blogger, here I am, driven by the whirlwind journey of my business. The intensity of experiences and growth has inspired me to find an outlet for my thoughts and feelings. It's not just about trying to rationalising the chaos around me; it's also about keeping those who are interested up to date with the journey.
Welcome to my weekly dispatch, a personal letter (Letters from Liv), a glimpse into my world, my experiences, and where D. Louise is currently at – unfiltered, raw & 100% honest.
Week 1 (here it goes) – or maybe a series of weeks bundled into one, because the amount of things happening lately are too good to not write about.
The past few weeks at D. Louise have been nothing short of incredible.
Firstly, let's talk about Rebecca, our newest team member (we now have 9 full time staff ekk?!). She's our new Social Brand Manager, and absolutely amazing at what she does! Get ready for her incredible content across our socials and definitely send some love in comments her way!
We then had an office opening evening with a few of our close friends to celebrate our new office now that its all been finished. Pizza & wine all round (winner)
Our much-anticipated Make Waves 2.0 launch went incredibly well. Your love and support flooded in which was amazing. Creating the content for this however, was a different story. Picture this: a shoot on what might just be the windiest beach in the UK… The model was literally blinded by a sand storm. Believe it or not, I am still finding grains of sand. (Pictures looked great though hahaha)

As we didn’t have enough to manage we then decided to do a collaboration with my favourite boxing gym Jab. I have been going to Jab since it opened so it was such a full circle moment for me to be able to collaborate with them on an event. Was so amazing to meet such lovely people and have the opportunity to do an offline event was special.
Can we have a moment for the towels please...

Then came our summer sale – and how mental it was! The sale stock vanished within 48 hours, a two-week plan totally turned upside down by our lovely customers. I am beyond grateful to everyone who bought from the sale as it still blows my mind how many of you support the brand. I can still feel the excitement of my very first order over two years ago. A shoutout to Molly Leese, a friend who placed that order and technically started the whole journey.
The fun doesn’t stop there. This week has been FULL of planning for a very exciting launch and shoot coming up (More about this next time). We haven’t done anything like this before so I am slightly terrified!
Now, im off to go eat a giant croissant… this might be a hint of where the shoot is going to be…
Stay tuned.
Love always,
Liv x
